Materials
10 cm of paper wire for feet
5 x 5 cm fabric for beak
5 x 10 cm fabric for body
Small amount of craft cotton wool
2 beads for eyes
Sewing instruction
Feet
1. Tie knot on both ends of paper wire and bend into U-shape.

Schnabel
2. Fold square in the middle and turn over (fabric’s right side faces now up).

3. Fold rectangle in the middle and lay upper and lower corner onto middle line.

4. Fold upper corner onto lower corner

Body
5. Fold rectangle in the middle and flap down (wrong side is now up).

6. Fold-in beak from right hand side (fabric fold onto fabric fold)

7. Sew right and wrong side of fabric

8. Fold inside out and fill with craft cotton wool

9. Fold over bottom edge (seam onto seam)

10. Insert feet and sew fabric together on bottom edge

11. Sew on 2 beads for eyes
12. Sew on loop for hanging
13. Sew on colourful tail of embroidery thread remnants

14. Tie knot close to body
